Mentors
Our head mentor, Alan Krauss, has been a huge help in all departments of the build season especially with us only having one returning member. He has been the only mentor that has been able to help Spencer and Carlin with coding so far, he has also been a big help with teaching us all about everything we have here in the shop. In his own words he is "in over his head" yet despite that he's still been able to do everything he can for us as a team. Everytime he's wanted to give up he just kept on pushing.
Jerry Deleon, another one of our main mentors, has been a tremendous help with the hardware side of things. He has been in the shop every single day he can, helping wherever possible. Despite being driven out of his mind by everyone on the team he has stuck through it all and made sure to keep everyone working.
Christina Krauss has been an extreme help in the marketing and artistic department; she has helped the whole team with ideas, as well as making items to go in the quiet room.
Pamela DeLeon has made sure that everyone stays fairly on track and has been sort of the mother of the team, she also makes sure that the shop is clean and tidy. She makes sure that everyone is fed and she has a knack for seeing when someone is overstressed.
Darrell Holmes is our team's scout, as well as our teams strategist mentor. He, as well as Jonathan have helped push the members in the right direction when they are stuck.
Jonathan Krauss has made sure the drive team knows what they're doing. He has also helped teach the members about things like the CNC machine as well as the 3-d printer.
Erica Long has been a sort of jack-of-all-trades within the team, from transportation, to marketing, she has helped out everywhere she can.
As well as a very warm welcome to our new mentors, Jennifer, Wade Stober, and Ben Black.
All of our mentors have kept chugging along the sequenced tracks despite all the struggles and difficulties we've gone through together and apart.
